I love the Sichuan Hot Pot! Great place for it and love the menu. Beside the hot pot and all its choices, like fresh fish ball, fish tofu, meat, squid, shrimp and all the veggies like mushrooms, water spinach, bok choy and more. Ask for half half if you would like to try the original spicy, hot pot and half of the regular one. We also like to order the scallion pancake, spring rolls and spicy chicken with crispy pepper. Seriously good! Other than that, they have so many menus you can choose from. The staff is very friendly, our favorite is Albert :). Super helpful and nice. The resto is spacious as well, enough place for everyone.Happy to go back here again and again.
Great food and service!
Good service,good food,comfortable space
We came here on Christmas after leaving another restaurant we had reservations at because it was a sh!t show. This place accommodated us without a reservation and gave us the best service they could considering how crazy busy they were on Christmas night. The food was pretty stellar and the owner especially was superb with his attentiveness. We will definitely go back to this restaurant. Great job!My only advice is that the front door needs a wind blocker. It has a bit of a draft when it’s cold.
Great Chinese restaurant if you like spicy food. It is one of my favorite Sichuan restaurants in the city. The 2 dishes I recommend most is filet fish with tofu(main dish) and Sichuan jelly (starter).
Great food! One of the best Sichuan in nyc
Try the spicy wok. Decent and plenty of food!
Reasonable prices large portions. Good place to eat
Place for business lunch
Great food.. so-so service. As with most Asian places. Ma po tofu was exemplary though.
A reservation for the hot pot tables is a must for dinner! Manager was very accommodating with the soups. He was even kind enough to let us charge our phones with the outlet near the cashiers. There aren't many good vegetarian options with the soup base.
We came here for hot pot in a group of 7. It gave a promising sight because most of the customers in here are Chinese. Everything we ordered was good. What really stands out is their fresh fish ball. It is a must for their hot pot dish. We also really enjoy their steamed buns as well as their deep fried baos. As for as other toppings for the hot pot, they were fresh but the portion is extremely small. We spent about $37 a person for hot pot as well as some appetizers and beer. I think it is pretty pricey given this is a Chinese restaurant. Food is good though but if you wouldn't mind paying a premium in Midtown, this place is a good choice.
The food here is delicious. I wouldn't pay $20 for the mei shan beef again, it was delicious but not $20 delicious 🤣
Hidden gem in midtown east. Food is good and authentic! Place gets busy on weekday lunches.
Good service, excellent food
Best Szechuan food for good price in Manhattan.
Great food and great service. I have been there twice and each time the food has been fantastic. This is a solid NYC Chinese food restaurant.
Sichuan restaurant mainly, but they do admittedly have a decent selection of non spicy food from which we ordered. By far my favorite was V8: the dry sautéed string bean, which balanced crisp without the usually associated greasiness. The tofu boi Choi soup was also solid. The sesame chicken on the other hand was a letdown- avoid!
Food was INCREDIBLE! I love hot and spicy and plan on working my way through the menu.
Nice Chinese food. Very quick service. Reasonable prices. Good neighborhood restaurant.
Nice and cool place for good eats
Very good. I like. Could be cheaper. I try some combination desk with everything cooking in one... very good
The restaurant was packed but we were seated fairly quickly. We ordered the spicy fish special with fried rice and some chili sauce. The order of fish was plentiful and tasty. We noticed a table near us had some greens that looked quite good. We ordered them (pea shoots) which were quite a hit. The shoots are not on the menu and are fairly pricey for greens but are definitely worth trying. The decor is typical for a midtown Chinese restaurant but was quite lively with the lunch crowd. The wait staff is attentive and prompt. I will eat here again.
Nice place with awesome food and low prices!
Mapa Tofu was great ;the sichuan chicken average
Excellent! Great food!! Good service. Will definitely come back. Must try!
Very good food 10 minute delay ordering
I went there pretty late. I tried their dan dan noodle. Didn't taste like typical dan dan noodle and was too salty for my taste. Nice staff tho and I want to try their hot pot so I'll probably return.
Nice food and decent prices
Very authentic and delicious food
Great food and prices, a bit noisy
Great food service was kind of slow though
Food was normal good. Probably a restaurant I would go to on a weekday.
Pretty decent experience here with some delicious Sichaun food. Thought the quality on what we had was pretty high. The tendon we had may have been pre-frozen. Service was reasonably good.
I remember when this place was amazing with one of the best soup dumpling in the city. I was a little disappointed to see that the quality of there soup dumpling went down the last time I ate there (Lots of meat , no soup). With that said there food is still very delicious and I recommend for anyone to stop by. Since it's Manhattan, do expect to pay for more though.
For some reason the restaurant calls itself a different name on food delivery apps. Tried the fish soup and mapo tofu with pork for delivery. Decent taste, price, and portion size, slightly better than average Chinese place. Wouldn't mind ordering again. They have enough fish slices in the soup, though the fish seemed overcooked. Tofu was tasty.
Very authentic taste and they deliver via Postmates!
Saw that they had beef tripe and trachea on the menu. As a major tripe lover, I wondered why no one had ever offered me the trachea before. My med student daughter said it would be pure, tough cartilage and she could understand why it didn't make many menus. Well, it turned out to be fabulous. Great flavors and a wonderful consistency that was closer to squid or octopus than garden hose. Can't wait to return, and I will try to drag my nervous family this time.
